We are inviting you to our next unique adventure to the Iron Gates (a gorge on the Danube River situated in Romania).
On board of heritage railway carriages we are travelling from Budapest to the spa town, Băile Herculane where we spend two nights.
On the first day we visit Timi?oara the informal capital city of the historical region of Banat.
On the second day we travel to Drobeta-Turnu Severin by bus where we board a boat which takes us to the Iron Gates.
On the third day on the way back we visit Arad.
During the entire journey, our nostalgic carriages supplied by MAV Nostalgia are pulled by the Rákóczi-Traxx engine.
Itinerary:
29th April 2017, Saturday:
Departure from Budapest Nyugati Railway Station at 6.45am
Lunch is provided on the train
Arrival to Timi?oara at 12.45pm, sightseeing by tram till 3.45pm.
Arrival to Băile Herculane at 6.35pm
Bus transfer to the hotel
Dinner at the hotel
30th April 2017, Sunday:
Breakfast at the hotel
Bus transfer to the harbour of Drobeta-Turnu Severin departs at 10.30am
Boat trip to the Iron Gates with music and entertainment
1st May 2017, Monday:

Short sightseeing by bus in Băile Herculane
Return train journey:
Departure from Băile Herculane at 10am
Lunch is provided on the train
Arrival to Arad at 2pm , sightseeing by tram till 5.20pm
Arrival to Budapest Nyugati Railway Station at 8.05pm
